The Ten is Too Young coalition are inviting organisations to endorse a joint letter to Members of the Northern Ireland Assembly which calls for the minimum age of criminal responsibility to be raised. Over 70 organisations have already signed the letter which argues that 10 is too young and that children in contact with the justice system should be met with care, protection and support rather than criminalisation.
