New CES project will enable shared learning among National Lottery Community Fund grant holders

CES has begun an exciting new three year project to design and deliver The Learning Exchange Network to connect National Lottery Community Fund grant holders with each other to share learning and exchange practical insights, to strengthen the sector.

The Learning Exchange Network is commissioned by The National Lottery Community Fund, the largest community funder in the UK, using funds raised by National Lottery players.

The project will build grant holders’ skills, knowledge, and expertise through connecting with other grant holders. Participants will have access to training, learning resources, regular updates and news, and opportunities to connect with others formally and informally. Most importantly, grant holders will be able to access the vast experience and expertise of their peers and share their learning in exchange.

The first events in the programme are a series of World café sessions to bring organisations together to find out more about each other’s work, share learning, discuss challenges and opportunities, and start to build connections. It will also be an opportunity for grant holders to shape the work of the Learning Exchange Network to ensure it meets their needs.

These events will take place in a range of locations, at different times of the day and will be interactive and informal. Online events are available to anyone who can’t attend an in person event.
