Brain Injury Matters was established in 2013 to support and empower children, adults, carers and families affected by acquired brain injury.

Brain Injury Matters has earned a reputation for developing and delivering a range of innovative programmes and initiatives led by a dedicated team of passionate, caring and experienced professionals for individuals affected by brain injury and wider community. Services include counselling, arts & well-being, sports programme as well as goal focused children’s services.

There are eight staff including CEO, Corporate Services Manager and Adult Services Manager, with plans to expand the team further.

The Chair of Trustees/Directors for Brain Injury Matters provides strategic leadership and governance oversight for the charity, ensuring it fulfils its mission to support people living with brain injuries.
