Applications are now open for the first round of the 2026 Belfast Harbour Community Awards, which will provide £110,000 in funding to grassroots organisations across Belfast and surrounding areas. Community and voluntary groups can apply for grants of up to £5,000, with the current application window open until Friday 3 April.

Launched in 2021, the programme has supported more than 150 community projects, including sports clubs, community gardens, arts initiatives and programmes supporting people with disabilities. The awards form part of Belfast Harbour’s wider Community Fund Programme, through which the Trust Port reinvests in initiatives that strengthen communities, develop skills and create opportunities for local people.
